The mono-brow has left the building! The pretty boy vs bad boy debate has been well and truly answered. Nathan was booted out after a whopping 89% of the public voted for him over John James. Now we'll never know if Corin would have got her razor on that mammoth brow of his! One thing last night proved was that John James' blonde hair and blue eyes have not only wooed Josie, but the whole of the UK. Once and for all, solving the pretty boy vs bad boy quandary.
No sooner had the hairy bad boy left, three more housemates landed, literally! I can't wait to see the trouble these new contestants will stir up, there's bound to be some rivalry between blonde bombshells Keeley and Josie while Ben is sure to up his makeup and beauty game with the arrival of two more pretty girls! I'm hoping Ben might share some of his tips with newby Andrew - who looks in need of a makeover! We had better get ready for some exciting new dramas, flirtations and beauty secrets.

Josie gets a blue rinse
Poor Josie was the latest housemate to fall victim to a shower of paint yesterday, following Mario and Caoimhe's near miss this morning. Josie enjoyed a marathon preening session in the bathroom, where she performed some intense pampering and grooming treatments including a bizarre shaving sesh which saw the housemate twist into some quite unique shaving positions! What is it with our housemates and their strange shaving habits this year? First Corin and her forehead, then Ben and his neck and now Josie has joined in!
After all her preening (no doubt for the benefit of John James), the manicured housemate then stepped into the shower for a rinse - well that's what she thought anyway! Instead mischievous Big Brother sprayed Josie with blue paint forcing her to return to the tub for another soak! Avatar pulled off the blue smurf look, but for our Josie, blue would never be a winner, especially when trying to woo a certain gorgeous Aussie...

The house is set to open its doors to three new housemates, two of which are young, attractive females who are bound to cause a bit of rivalry! I'm not just talking about competition for the remaining girls but also Ben's status as Diva of the house! Watch this space.

Pretty Boy vs Bad Boy
With two of the best looking men in the house up for eviction, who will prevail – the rough and ready Nathan or the Beckham lookalike John James?! You couldn’t get more opposite looking men. Will Nathan win battle of the blokes with his hairy, rugged and laid back attitude towards his appearance? Or will John James triumph with his preened blonde hair and blue eyes?
All the talk in the house today has been focussed on Friday’s result, the deciding factor has been put down to how many female fans the nominees have on the outside. Caoimhe is convinced that JJ is the heart throb of the house whereas Corin has backed fellow Northerner Nathan to be the most desirable housemate, commenting that "Nathan's as good-looking as John, but in a different way. If I had to go on a date with either of them it'd be Nathan, he's just more my type."
The other boys in the house are just as stirred up by the shock nominations, with Mario musing that "It's the pretty boy versus the bad boy".
So who goes, you decide – the pretty boy JJ or the bad boy Nathan? Which housemate floats your boat?

Eviction night style
Have you noticed how the housemates always get really over-the-top glammed up for the eviction night; even those not nominated? It’s as if they are suddenly reminded that they are actually being watched by millions and up their beauty routines for the big night. Or perhaps its just gives them all something to do?
But anyway back to eviction news…
Despite bitchy Govan being the 'evictee' of the night, it was his arch enemy Ben who stole the show! We noted earlier this week that Ben has been, by far, the diva of the house since Rachael was voted out last week. Dressed to impress in his dapper blazer, tie and extra floppy hair, the posh housemate was all set to leave the house in style. Earlier in the day he was treated to a beauty sesh with Josie who, on his own instructions, painted his nails and added mascara, ‘man cream’ and the essential finishing touch - guy liner.
Dave also got the Josie treatment with red nails and a slicked over hair look which even gave Corin a run for her money! Makeup didn't save Rachael, but maybe for the boys adding some makeup to their personalities would keep from nomination in the first place!
I am loving watching all the boys get more and more beautified as the show goes on, especially Ben and his hilarious grooming antics.

Ben’s beautiful boys
Has anyone else noticed that in Rachael’s absence, we have a new style and beauty queen, or should I say king?! Ben has completely filled Rachael’s shoes in the beauty stakes. It all started as a mammoth midnight moisturising session last week with Ben doling out his skin care products to Mario, David and John James, while giving beauty tips and advice. Ben’s store of products even took Mario for surprise, exclaiming “I moisturise regularly and I thought I was vain!” Even rough and ready Northerner Nathan has taken up Ben’s advice and has started moisturising!
However, Ben's lotions and potions were not as well received by some as they were by others as Mario complained of them smelling like bleach. A moisturiser that smells like bleach – what on earth is Ben using?!
Following the boys pampering session, Ben has since been seen receiving massages in the garden from Mario and personal hair washing services from Caoimhe. This has got be the vainest man we’ve seen in the house so far?! His treatments are certainly working though if he is managing to receive so much attention from the other housemates. Let’s hope Ben survives this week’s eviction and sticks around so we can see what other beauty treats he has in store for the men in the house.

We all wave Bye-once
Shock, horror Rachael’s gone!! The first eviction of the Season and our bootylicious diva Rachael has left the house! Rachael was by far the most glamorous of the housemates, getting changed twice a day, checking the mirror constantly, reapplying her makeup and permanently schooshing those gorgeous locks of hers.
Following arguments with John James throughout the week that she is/isn’t arrogant about her looks, Rachael fought back in her exit interview that she is as insecure as the next girl about her image but tries to hold her head high and make the most of what she’s got. If anything, I feel that Rachael could be a positive role model for girls. She has proved – just like her idol Beyonce – that curvy is sexy and that she is proud of her voluptuous figure.
However, it seems all that schooshing and parading around in her underwear didn’t do Rachael much good in the house. It just goes to show that BB is not always about survival of the fittest!
